Asking Alexandria frontman Danny Worsnop has debuted “Another You” a new track filled with angst and passion. Worsnop is also heading out on a North American tour in early 2020 with Starbenders who are opening for them. Worsnop’s vocals impact you with meaningful and gut-wrenching force as he drives the theme, “I could never find another you.” The keyboard backdrop sets the tone against his vocals as his heartfelt passion is felt throughout the track. Over halfway through the song, there is a major shift with slowing down and lyrics like, “Baby, I must confess. I miss my days of ignorance like before, you walked through my door.” The angst comes through in this track and Worsnop who comes from the metal world has shifted gears through his solo music.

Worsnop and Asking Alexandria dealt with turbulent times in recent years. In January 2015, Worsnop left the band to perform with his new band, We Are Harlot. Worsnop continued touring with We Are Harlot and released a solo album and country song, “Anyone But Me”, off his album The Long Road Home. Worsnop has since rejoined Asking Alexandria and the band released their fifth studio album and celebrated their hit “Alone In A Room.”

Worsnop grew up in a small village in England and his love for music began when he was a toddler making “beats” using empty boxes and pots. He learned the violin, trumpet and joined his local village school orchestra and later took up guitar and bass and became more influenced by rock and metal music. He initially planned to join the military, however the success of Asking Alexandria’s debut album, Stand Up and Scream convinced him to continue a music career.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
