Bring Me The Horizon Surprise Release New Album Music To Listen To… Featuring Halsey, Lotuseater and More

Bring Me The Horizon have surprise released new album today titled: Music to listen to~dance to~blaze to~pray to~feed to~sleep to~talk to~grind to~trip to~breathe to~help to~hurt to~scroll to~roll to~love to~hate to~learn Too~plot to~play to~be to~feel to~breed to~sweat to~dream to~hide to~live to~die to~GO TO.  The album features the likes of pop artist Halsey, brutal tech metal group Lotus Eater and rock band Yonaka, and is available on all streaming platforms.

The new eight track album features three songs which clock in over the ten minute mark, “Steal Something,” “Dead Dolphin Sounds ‘aid brain growth in unborn child’ Virtual Therapy / Nature Healing 2 Hours” (feat. Toriel), and “Underground Big {HEADFULOFHYENA} (feat. BEXEY & Lotus Eater)” which clocks in at over 24-minutes.

This track shows the band going into a more ambient and electronic direction, with their long track lengths and spacey atmospheric instrumentals. While the band originated as a deathcore group, they’ve been going into more of a pop territory with their recent singles and album releases during the past few years.

The band shared the electronica laced “nihilist blues,” earlier this year which featured vocals from acclaimed experimental pop artist Grimes. “Nihilist blues,” featured a variety of synth lines and tempos, which borrowed from many different realms of electronic music and pop.

Bring Me The Horizon also debuted a music video starring acclaimed actor Forest Whitaker this year for the track “In The Dark.” This song took a more pop-oriented tone, while the video was co-directed by the band’s frontman Oliver Sykes and director/producer Brian Cox.
