Sister trio The Haden Triplets have released their 1950s esque music video for their song “Every Time I Try.” The video is a special tribute to the 1950’s television show Ozark Jubilee, where their late father Charlie Haden would often perform. It also includes a cameo from Nick Offerman and directed by Rachel Lichtman. Check out the music video below.
“Every Time I Try” will be featured on their upcoming album The Family Songbook, out January 24 via Trimeter Records. The new album will be the first in six years, with their last being their self-titled debut. The new album will feature 11 additional tracks including their first recordings of “Slowly,” and “Single Girl Married Girl,” which were first recorded back in 2014. The sisters uncovered these songs via their uncle, who had Carl Haden’s original sheet music along with the songbook Favorites of the Haden Family. The Family Songbook also features arrangements of Carter Family, Josh Haden, and their take on Kanye West’s “Say You Will.” It was produced by Woody Jackson.
They will also be playing a handful shows next year, beginning in San Diego, CA January 23rd and will continue on to Los Angeles, Knoxville, and a set at Stagecoach. More dates are set to be announced at a later date.
