In addition to playing their latest single “Hallelujah,” HAIM recently performed a contemporary rendition of a classic 90s pop hit, Robyn’s “Show Me Love”, during a Piano Session at BBC Radio 1’s Chillest Show With Paul Taggart,  according to Pitchfork. The cover is complete with stunning vocal harmonies along with a diving piano accompaniment that provides a sense of familiarity to the original piece.

HAIM, a trio of sisters out of Los Angeles, released their debut studio album in September of 2013 to widespread critical acclaim. After touring on the road and releasing their second studio album in 2017, they have released 3 singles in 2019 so far. The singles have been met with praise from fans and critics alike, as the release of their third studio album is heavily anticipated.

Although lesser well known in today’s music scene, Robyn has been steadily releasing albums since the mid 1990’s. The Swedish born singer burst onto the scene and found early success, and her song, “Show Me Love,” not only hit the Billboard Hot 100, but gave her a touring spot with The Backstreet Boys. Her latest album that was released in 2018, Honey, was a departure from her usual electro-pop style, demonstrating her ability to evolve and adapt her sound over the course of decades.
