Gorillaz Release First Trailer for New Documentary Film Reject False Icons

A new trailer has been released for a brand-new documentary film on the world’s most successful virtual band, the Gorillaz. For one night only, fans can watch director Denholm Hewlett’s “Gorillaz: Reject False Icons” on December 16th in 600 cinemas around the world. The trailer highlights the band’s every move during the three-year making of critically acclaimed albums “Humanz” and “The Now Now.” The film follows both the virtual band, consisting of singer 2D, bassist Murdoc Niccals, guitarist Noodle and drummer Russel Hobbs, and the real-life co-creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. The trailer shows plenty of familiar faces with Vince Staples, Jean-Michel Jarre, De La Soul, DRAM, Pusha T all appearing in the movie.
