Besideds Donald Trump, there’s not many people in the world that have been in the headlines over the last year than Kanye West. He recently released his long-awaited new album Jesus Is King and in the wake of that release, has made the rounds with interviews that contain main bold proclamations and promises of new music. Today, he’s adding fuel to that fire with a tweet of himself and Dr. Dre in the studio, with the caption reading “Ye and Dre Jesus is King Part II coming soon.”
Last month in an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Live, West said he would be releasing a new album called Jesus Is Born on December 25, which of course is Christmas. Knowing West and his spontaneous, very spur-of-the-moment decision making, it’s not clear whether Jesus Is King Part II would be the same thing as Jesus Is Born, or if he plans to release two new albums soon.
This weekend, West held the latest in his series of Sunday Service in Houston, home of mega-church pastor Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church. One of the highlights of the event was West proclaiming he’s “the greatest artist that God has ever created.”
