The Black Crowes Announce Shake Your Money Maker 2020 Reunion World Tour

First My Chemical Romance, then Rage Against the Machine and now The Black Crowes are reuniting in 2020 for a massive world tour. The band will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their quintuple platinum-selling debut album Shake Your Money Maker. With the tour appropriately titled the Shake Your Money World Tour, the band will play the album in its entirety along with their greatest hits. The tour is set to kick off in North America next summer, slated to begin June 17 in Austin, TX. It will then make its way across amphitheaters all summer long , including stops in Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, Cleveland, Seattle, and Las Vegas before concluding September 19 at the Forum in Los Angeles. Also in celebration of the anniversary and tour, the band also announced two intimate gigs this coming week,with one being at New York’s Bowery Ballroom and the other at Los Angeles’ iconic Troubadour. More information will be revealed via the band’s Instagram page.

In a press release, member Chris Robinson stated “I’m thrilled & blessed to be playing with my brother celebrating the music we’ve made & bringing our lives together full circle. Long live Rock n’ Roll & The Black Crowes!”  The other half, Rich Robinson, also stated “First and foremost, I’m really happy to have my brother back in my life. To be able to play music again together and celebrate the first record we made as kids, is a gift. To have these songs stand up after 30 years is something I could’ve never fathomed.”
