Beck has dropped his Paisley Park Sessions EP today via Amazon. The album’s name is in reference to Prince’s complex Paisley Park in Minnesota, which is where the sessions took place. The jam-filled EP showcases Beck and his band performing a medley of Prince’s hit songs“Raspberry Beret,” “When Doves Cry,” “Kiss,” and “1999.” Rounding out the EP are unique, streamlined arrangements of two classic Beck originals, “Where It’s At” and “Up All Night.” Beck also released an interview held at Paisley Park about the experience. See the video below. Three performance clips from the Paisley Park Sessions will follow on November 18th. The sessions are available to stream on all tiers of Amazon Music.

Beck will also be releasing a full-length LP Hyperspace, November 22nd. He recently released a new single from the album called “Dark Places,” following previously released singles “Uneventful Days,” and “Saw Lightning,” produced by Pharrell.  released last month with its accompanying video directed by Blood Orange. The new album will include these two tracks along with five others. It follows 2017’s Colors. With his upcoming album release, he will be headlining Night One of KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas this December, alongside Cage the Elephant, Of Monsters and Men, The 1975, and Jimmy Eat World.
