L.A’s very own KROQ radio station has announced the full lineup for its annual Almost Acoustic Christmas shows for 2019, presented by Absolut. The lineup boasts Beck, The Raconteurs, Cage the Elephant and Mumford and Sons. Other acts include The 1975, Of Monsters and Men, Twenty-One Pilots, Jimmy Eat World, and Angels and Airwaves. The two-day event will take place on December 8th and 9th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. See the day-by-day lineup below. Tickets for night one are on sale now, with night two’s going on sale Friday, November 8th at 10am PST. Fans can sign up for KROQ’s street team to get presale password that will be used on Thursday, November 7th at 10am PST. Tickets for both nights can be purchased here.
This will mark the festivals 31st year, with its first being held in 1989 with the original name KROQ Xmas Bash. This year will also mark its first year at the Honda Center in 20 years, with the venue previously being called the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim. It has been previously held at The Forum, the Shrine Auditorium and the missed but not forgotten Universal Amphitheater at Universal Studios. Last year’s lineup featured The Smashing Pumpkins, Florence and the Machine, CHVRCHES, Billie Eilish, and Greta Van Fleet. Past lineups have featured Green Day, The Cure, Linkin Park, Blink 182, and System of a Down.
