Ghost Performs a Partial Cover of Pantera’s Hit Single “Walk” Live at Giant Center

At a recent show in Hershey, PA, Ghost played a  partial instrumental cover of Pantera‘s “Walk.” According to the PRP, the band are currently preparing for a European leg of their tour with All Them Witches and Tribulation slated to kick off November 11th in Nottingham, UK and will make stops in London, Leeds, Budapest, Barcelona, and Madrid before concluding in France December 19. See the full list of tour dates below.

Frontman Tobias Forge recently announced the role of Cardinal Copia will come to an end after the release of their 2021 album and will be replaced with Papa Emeritus IV. No word yet on who will perform the role, but based on previous years, Forge played the role from 2010 to 2017. Earlier last year, the band revealed the deaths of Papa Emeritus I, II, and III.  The character’s deaths are part of the band’s spectacle played by the frontmen and the “four nameless ghouls,” the group’s backing band.

Recently Forge stated he considered turning Ghost’s backstory into a book or film. In an interview with Head-Wig, he stated “I guess in the context of a rock band trying to tell a story, you can’t have too high of hopes of it being a blockbuster success,” Forge stated. He later added “We’re still a rock band, and it’s there for fun. But yeah, the intention is to, in one way or form, tell that story, and if it becomes a film one day, potentially… but there is definitely other ways to tell the story, as well. And it might come out in paper form.”
