Battles have announced new tour dates for this coming winter. The band will kick off their small batch of dates in Seattle, WA and will continue on to cities like Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Brooklyn. The tour will then conclude Dec. 11 in Boston, MA. According to the PRP, fellow bands Palm and Guerilla Toss will join Battles on select dates. See the full list of tour dates below. Fans can purchase remaining tickets here.
The band will be touring in support of their recently released LP Juice B Crypts. They recently released the third single from the album, “Fort Greene Park,” which the band described it as “…a beautiful, somber synth melody and building with steady, controlled pace.” The band also released “A Loop So Nice…” and “They Played it Twice,” featuring Xenia Rubiños shortly before. They are about to wrap up the European leg of their tour, concluding on Halloween night in Belgium.
Formerly a trio, the now duo have geared more towards an electronic sound compared to their previous efforts. Former member Dave Konopka left the band last year due to “personal reasons.” Juice B Crypts is the follow up to their 2015 album La Di Da Di.
