Sofi Tukker Live at the Shrine, Los Angeles

It was an energetic night at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles and all three acts brought the hype. LP Giobbi started off and it was genuinely nice to see someone having such an awesome time on stage. Her enthusiasm kept the crowd moving. Things then sped up even more when the trio of Australian women making up Haiku Hands burst on stage. Their combination of singing, rapping and flaunting dance moves mirrors the feeling of partying with your best friends. The night culminated with Sofi Tukker, made up of Tucker Halpern and Sophie Hawley-Weld, bringing their colorful, somewhat exotic feeling set to the stage. Vines and huge palm leaves sprung out from all sides as the two moved around the stage in neon colors. Hawley-Weld took a moment to call out “Los Angeles, will you catch me?” just before climbing off the stage and lunging out onto the crowd. This duo is one you must see.
