The Beatles’ Upcoming Box Set Includes 46 Remastered Tracks on 23 7″ Vinyl Singles

The Beatles’ have announced a new boxset entitled The Beatles: The Singles Collection, which remasters 46 of their classic singles on 23 seven-inch vinyls. Each of these records hosts classic sleeve arts from across the world from countries such as South Africa, Mexico, Austria, Chile, and Japan, which will make it stand out for the band’s many vintage collectors.

Nothing else can really be said about the most influential band in history, a fact that is heavily attributed to the band’s massive commercial and critical success. Despite lasting a little under a decade, with their debut album Please Please Me being released in 1963, and their final release Let It Be released in 1970, the band continue to be the best-selling band in history with over 800 million albums worldwide.

Their roots began in the humble skiffle scenes in Liverpool, England during the late 1950s, and while some dismissed the group as a “boy band,” especially in regards to their early years, the band formed organically with John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison serving as the foundational members. Richard Starkey, better known now as Ringo Starr joined the group a year prior to their debut album release, when the band had signed to EMI.l

While beginning their career with a fusion of rock and pop, the band soon evolved delving into various aspects of psychedelic and world music, while exploring more complex lyrical themes on their latest releases. The band broke apart in 1970, due to a variety of issues stemming from personal squabbles to artistic differences.

Last year saw a couple of bits of news surrounding the legendary band. Lennon’s killer, Mark David Chapman was denied bail for the 10th time, while rare acoustic recording of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” was unearthed a little over a month later.
