Gone is Gone Announce Rare Live Show and First in Over a Year at Germany’s Clouds Hill Festival

The rock supergroup Gone is Gone featuring Troy Sanders of Mastadon, Troy Van Leeuwen of Queens of the Stone Age, Tony Hajjar from At The Drive-In and Mike Zarin of Sencit Music, has announced its first performance in over a year, with a scheduled performance at Germany’s Clouds Hill Festival. This event will take place at Clouds Hill in Hamburg, Germany on November 30th, and tickets can be purchased here.

This will be the group’s fourth show ever, and their only show that has ever been performed outside of Los Angeles, California. Gone is Gone debuted their self-titled EP in July of 2016, a few months after their first performance ever.

Their previous performance took place at the Fundraiser Art Auction in Los Angeles, California, which featured an assortment of art donated by the likes of street artist Shepard Fairey, tattoo artist Kat Von D, At The Drive-In’s Cedric Bixler, and PVRIS’ Lynn Gunn. The event was organized by Smile + Wonder, an organization founded by Nicole Hajjar and her husband, which relies on a small spread of funds to help children in need of proper development.

Gone if Gone’s most recent performance soon after that took place at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, where post-punk trio Glaare served as the event’s opener. The supergroup performed a 14 track long set, which consisted of tracks off their EP and their 2017 album Echolocation.

“Hosted at the intimate and historic Troubadour in West Hollywood, it was a rare opportunity for die-hard fans of this fledgling band to witness brand new songs and older favorites up-close and personal,” Matt Matasci of mxdwn wrote in his review of their performance.
