Nick Murphy Debuts NYC-Filmed Live Music Video for “Dangerous”

Nick Murphy

Nick Murphy has released a special live version of “Dangerous” from his critically acclaimed sophomore album Run Fast Sleep Naked released earlier this year. Time Magazine noted the stunning track as “multi-layered and experimental, but maintains an acoustic heartbeat and a measured, reflective tone.”  The live version comes with its video, where Murphy performed the track on his Lower East Side balcony in New York City on Orchard Street. The clip was directed by Johann Rashid. Check out the performance below.

“Dangerous (Live from Orchard Street)” is the third  live video and fifth overall Murphy has released this album cycle, following “Message You At Midnight” (Live from Troy, NY)” “Sanity,” and the formal visual for “Dangerous.” Run Fast Sleep Naked serves as the follow up to 2014’s Built to Glass, his debut album since leaving his moniker Chet Faker.

Murphy is still on the road supporting the album, where he just kicked off the European leg of his tour in Italy. The tour will continue to make its way around Europe including stops in Munich, Amsterdam, Manchester, and London. He is then set to play the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City, alongside The Strokes, Billie Eilish, Interpol, Weezer and The Raconteurs Nov. 16. He will then conclude Dec. 1 in India at the NH7 Weekender Festival. See the full tour itinerary below.
