Red Hot Chili Peppers lead guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer, has announced his debut solo project Pluralone. Earlier in the summer, he dropped a 7-inch under the same moniker, and is now prepping for a full-length debut album under the same name. The album, which is titled To Be One with You, is a full on 10 track LP set to hit shelves on November 22nd. You can pre-order the debut album here.
While Klinghoffer’s forthcoming album will showcase his individual talents, he wasn’t entirely alone when recording To Be One with You. Recruiting help from fellow Red Hot Chili Peppers member Flea, as well as former Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons. The album will also include contributions from former Jane’s Addiction bassist and co-founder Eric Avery, as well as Eric Gardner and Clint Walsh from the experimental rock band, Dot Hacker.
2019 has been a busy year for the Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer. Earlier in the year he contributed to the new record from newly reunited outfit, that dog, as well as continually working on the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album. Although their recording was halted earlier in the year due to the wildfires that ran rampant throughout California, it doesn’t look like Klinghoffer’s solo project will affect the band or its production. The To Be One with You album cover and track list can be seen below.
