Trentemøller’s Debuts “Blue September” Feat. Lisbet Fritze, New Album Obverse out Today

Trentemøller has released his third and final single “Blue September” featuring Lisbet Fritze. The new track is also included on his newly released album Observe along with his previously released singles “Try A Little” (ft. Warpaint’s jennylee), “In The Garden” (ft. Lina Tullgren), and “Sleeper, released earlier this year.” “Blue September” also got the visual treatment, as he released the self-directed music video, which was shot by an iPhone in the Swedish woods. He states, “I tried to capture that special vibe of something beautiful and a bit creepy at the same time.”

He then went on to talk about the album, saying “I have always worked with contrasts in my music and in my sound. It’s in the subtle clashes of feelings and tonal contradictions that I often find pure inspiration. Obverse was always going to be about exploring the possibilities in my studio, with no consideration of how it could be performed on a stage, and it was completely liberating.”

Obverse serves as the follow up tp 2016’s Fixion and marks his fourth full-length LP. Another feature on the album includes Rachel Goswell of Slowdive, which serves as the opener of the 10-track album.
