Gojira Teases a New Album in the Works With Instagram Studio Photo

French heavy metal band Gojira seems to be hinting to fans that there is new music on the horizon for the group. The band’s latest Instagram post features a mixing console, an image uploaded on Thursday, September 26. Gojira’s last full length studio album was their Grammy-nominated sixth studio album, 2016’s Magma.

Gojira was formed by siblings Joe and Mario Duplantier back in 1996. Since then they have gone on to release six studio albums: their debut studio album 2001’s Terra Incognita, their sophomore album 2003’s The Link, their third album 2005’s From Mars to Sirius, their fourth album 2008’s The Way of All Flesh, their fifth and Roadrunner Records major label debut 2012’s L’Enfant Sauvage and 2016’s Magma. Gojira’s current touring roster is as follows: Joe Duplantier (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Christian Andreu (lead guitar), Mario Duplantier (drums/backing vocals) and Jean-Michele Labadie (bass).
