The Stone Roses Announce They’re Breaking Up Again According to John Squire

Why do all good things come to an end? The Stone Roses have announced that their last show in Glasgow was the finale for the band. The Stone Roses reunited after their previous breakup for a world tour in 2011 and now the band is calling it quits for good according to guitarist John Squire.

Looking back on their music videos, some with millions of views, many question if the band should be calling it quits. One of the members commented that the audience should look back with glee that they created music, not that they, in fact, are finished collaborating once and for all. When the band came out with new music echoing their ’90s music feel in 2016, listeners were filled once again with the passion of the band’s music. Unfortunately, this music will remain the last that they will release.

The band had broken up back in 1996 as well. The group had returned to make music together in 2011, so what makes this time different?  “Poison, “said Ian Brown of The Stone Roses in a press interviewLooking back on the good times, and moving forward on their own individual lives is the former band’s focus now.

Audiences will mourn the band once again and for the last time it seems.

Here is one of the band’s most famous songs, “I Wanna Be Adorned,” released in 2009.

Amber Flynn: Nothing beats writing. I'm from the town of Thousand Oaks, fighting for my dream. Traveling the world, and living in tough situations broadened the horizon for my thinking. I started my education after public high school at an Adult School. I wanted to receive my certificate in Physical Therapy. Eventually, I received my certificate and it motivated me to want to help more that just an individual. Continuing my education at Moorpark College, opened my eyes to the possibility of a career in Literary Arts. After receiving my Associates Degree in English, I sent out applications to many colleges. After being accepted to ALL of the colleges I applied to, I had to make a decision. I am now a student at Loyola Marymount University, and I also work part time at a Law Firm editing legal documents.
