The Lumineers Debut String of Videos for Acclaimed Three-Part Record III

The Lumineers had one of the largest singalongs of the weekend

Since their album announcement in April and its lead single “Gloria,” The Lumineers have given fans parts of short film that includes tracks from their third studio effort III. The album was released this past Friday with much critical acclaim and another part of the short film. “My Cell,” the album’s first song, introduces Jimmy Sparks, the son of Gloria. In the NSFW clip, Jimmy is seen with his girlfriend, who eventually betrays him and steals his money along with a man who violently attacks Jimmy. Check out the clip below. “My Cell” serves as the follow up to ‘It Wasn’t Easy To Be Happy For You,” and is the seventh part of ten videos of the short film. Each video tells a tale of a member of the fictional Sparks family and is all directed by Kevin Phillips.

The group will be heading out on the road next year in support of the new record. The 2020 jaunt will kick off Feb. 1 in Asheville, NC and will continue to make its way to Brooklyn, Chicago, Dallas and Virginia Beach.  Mt. Joy will join the band throughout the tour.
