Southside Ballroom in Dallas, TX was filled with EDM fans last night as acts i_o and Deadmau5 featuring pop-rock singer Lights performed. As we’ve reported earlier in the year, Lights will be performing with deadmau5 throughout his Cube 3 tour this year. The venue was filled to the brim with fans and buzzing with excitement. I_o performed great and really kept the energy up as the night went on. Once his performance was complete, that’s when the mood shifted and you could hear people start chanting “deadmau5” awaiting his arrival; then the lights dimmed. And the Cube designed by deadmau5 was starting to come to life and then it began and everyone cheered. Deadmau5 performed great, his Cube design was incredible, it was a feat of engineering and really made the performance come to life. About halfway through his performance Lights graced the stage and ignited the crowd’s excitement. After her quick performance, Deadmau5 continued and ended the night on a high of energy!
