The new track by Lana Del Rey, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus, “Don’t Call Me Angel (Charlies Angels)” has been released and packs a punch, literally. The ladies come equipped with large black wings at the intro and enter looking stunning throughout. The vocals of all three combined in one track fit the video and will be featured in the motion picture which comes out November 15, 2019.

Ariana Grande looks amazing wearing all white with large wings and holding a strong position while singing throughout the video. Miley Cyrus drops a verse, showing off her multiple gold chains and her fit bod as she tortures a man in a boxing ring. She bites his ear reminding him to pay her some respect. With lyrics like, “Don’t call me angel when I’m a mess, Don’t call me an angel when I get undressed. You know I – I don’t like that, boy. I make my money and I write the checks. So say my name with a little respect. All my girl success and you just a guest.”

Grande comes back in with the main hook, “Don’t you know I bite when the sunset. Keep my name out your mouth. Boy, don’t call me angel. You don’t got me right. You can’t pay my price.” Lana Del Rey comes through mid-song and completely changes the tone dramatically, as only Del Rey can do. In the video, Del Rey is sitting in front of a fire wearing a red robe looking sultry.

The trio get back together toward the end and look superbly content while eating and drinking in the mansion. Just when they are reminded they need to get back to work. Charlie’s Angels hits theaters on November 15 and the song “Don’t Call Me Angel (Charlie’s Angels)” will be featured in the film. The track features co-writing credits from all three of the artists, and is featured in the film’s trailer and is the lead single from the upcoming Charlie’s Angels (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). The soundtrack will be available November 1, 2019, via Republic Records.

Director of the film, Elizabeth Banks stated, “It was important to me to kick off Charlie’s Angels with a huge female-powered anthem driven by a big voice – but to get three of the biggest voices out there? It’s a dream come true! What Ariana, Miley and Lana have delivered surpasses even my high expectations. Their song is resonant and meaningful, and it kicks major ass.”

The movie includes Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska and the story unfolds as these ladies work for the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose security and investigative agency has expanded internationally. With the world’s smartest, bravest, and most highly trained women all over the globe, there are now teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs everywhere.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
