The annual BIME music festival and conference has just announced its 2019 line-up featuring Foals, a 3D Kraftwerk performance, Britanny Howard, Phantogram, Mark Lanegan Band and Cooper Saver. This festival will take place from November 1st and 2nd, following a professional conference held by organizers held during the two-days prior to the event. Tickets can be purchased here.
BIME will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Center in Barakaldo, Spain, and follows previous line-ups which have included Aphexc Twin, Jon Hopkins, MGMT and Four Tet. The conference part of this music festival will host 2000 professionals, 1000 companies, over 600 speed meetings and 220 speakers for the event prior to the lead up of this music festival.
Kraftwerk have been making some rounds in the festival circuit, making an appearance at the Best Kept Secret music festival in the Netherlands alongside acts such as Bon Iver and Interpol. While the pioneering electronic artists were nominated for a Rock And Roll Hall of Fame induction last year, they did not make the cut.
Foals announced that their latest LP Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost-Part 2, will be released this coming October. This will be their sixth studio album, and is a sequel to their previous album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part-1, which was released earlier this year.
Brittany Howard will be releasing her first solo debut album Jaime in the coming week. The performer is best known as the lead vocalist for the blues rock band Alabama Shakes.
