Kraak & Smaak Release “Don’t Want This to Be Over” Featuring Satchmode, Announce New Album Is on the Way

Funky-pop trio Kraak & Smaak have released their new song “Don’t Want This to Be Over” featuring Satchmode. The new funky tune will also be featured on their upcoming album Pleasure Centre, which according to a press release, will have the same West Coast vibe that the trio brings. The new album, Pleasure Centre, is set to be released October 18 and will include 15 new tracks, with features from Gavin Turek, The Palms, Wolfgang Valburn, IVAR and Bernice Van Leer. Fans can pre-order the album here. Check out their new track below.

“Don’t Want This to Be Over” follows “Sweet Time” featuring Izo Fitzroy released last month, which is also to be included on the new album. The two tracks mark the first release of new music since 2016’s Juicy Fruit EP, selling out of physical releases of the album. They recently released a DJ mixed album called Poolside Miami last year, including remixes of their discography along with tracks from Chet Faker, Temples, Justin Jay, Meeka Kates, and Bob Sinclair.

Kraak & Smaak originated in the Netherlands and consists of members Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers and Wim Plug. Since releasing their debut album Boogie Angst in 2006, they have gone on to perform sets at Coachella and Bonnaroo and release albums Plastic People, Electric Hustle, and Chrome Waves in 2013.
