Four Tet Releases Three-Song Collection Anna Painting Created in Collaboration with Artist Anna Liber Lewis

Performer Kieran Hebden, better known as Four Tet, has released a short group of tracks in collaboration with artist and longtime friend Anna Liber Lewis. The three tracks, which were released together as an EP titled Anna Painting, were put on the artist’s Bandcamp page earlier today. The songs in the Anna Painting collection are titled “Anna Painting,” “Lahaina Noon” and “Breath.” On the album’s Bandcamp page, Hebden wrote that he and Liber Lewis had grown up together in London, sharing many experiences which shaped their creative outlooks. The two worked together on this new project with Hebden creating music as Liber Lewis painted and vice versa. Hebden and Liber Lewis inspired each other while working on this album, spending time over the course of several months collaborating on the songs and paintings.

Four Tet has been busy with other musical pursuits lately as well, releasing a series of singles earlier this year. The songs were titled “Dreamer,” “Teenage Birdsong” and “Only Human” and were put into streaming services over the past few months. The last major project released by the electronic and alternative music producer was 2017’s New Energy, which featured the tracks “Two Thousand and Seventeen” and “Lush.” Fans can check out Four Tet’s new music on Bandcamp now, which is linked below.
