Beth Hart Has the “Bad Woman Blues” In New Video

Blues rock singer Beth Hart has released a new music video for the track “Bad Woman Blues,” which will be featured on her upcoming album War In My Mind. This latest album will be released on September 27th via Provogue/Mascot Label Group, and is produced by Rob Cavallo.

This latest track features some hard hitting blues and rockabilly roots, that give the song some added flair to Hart’s bluesy vocal delivery throughout the song. The music video features the singer playing piano, and dancing along a high way, with various shots cut together on the same frame.

“It’s about a woman who doesn’t have any interest whatsoever in being good, because she knows she’s not. But instead of hating herself for it, she’s very clear with the man,” Hart explained in a press release.”Like, ‘Baby, I’m an asshole and a frickin’ witch, but you are gonna have fun with me’.”

War In My Mind is set to be the singer’s most personal release yet, as she continues to blend and perform within different types of genres throughout the project. Hart is best known for her various blends of blues, rock, soul and gospel music, that have made her one of the unique voices in the music industry.

“More than any record I’ve ever made, I’m more open to being myself on these songs,” Beth further elaborated. “I’ve come a long way with healing, and I’m comfortable with my darknesses, weirdnesses and things that I’m ashamed of – as well as all the things that make me feel good.”

Hart’s most recent record Fire On The Floor was released in 2017.
