Pusha T has been at it again, releasing yet another Kanye West-produced track, this time featuring Fugees legend Ms. Lauryn Hill entitled “Coming Home.” This latest track follows up yesterday’s “Sociopath,” which also featured a female in MC Kash Doll, and served as the first piece of music since the release of his most recent album Daytona.

While Pusha T keeps up his confident persona while delivering these latest set of bars, the rapper takes a much more political approach on this song, referencing the crack epidemic and hip hop legends Eric B. and Rakim with the line “Before Obama we had Eric B,” in reference to the duo’s hit song “Eric B. Is President.” Ms. Lauryn Hill delivers inspiring and soulful choruses for the song, which are complemented well by West’s upbeat and soulful production.

West has named Hill as one of his main musical icons throughout his entire career, referencing her on songs such as “Champion,” where he stated: “Lauryn Hill said her heart was in Zion/I wish her heart still was in rhymin.'” He also interpolated on of her live songs, “Mystery of Iniquity,” a spoken-word track for one of his earlier hits “All Falls Down,” where Syleena Johnson performed the opening.

These first two songs have showcased future material for both Pusha T, West and the Good Music record label founded by West, which currently has Pusha T as its president. Last year the label pushed out a series of six albums as part of the Wyoming Sessions, which included releases from Pusha T, West, Kid Cudi, Nas and Teyana Taylor.
