Lana Del Rey has just released new music video, combining two of her most recent songs “Fuck it I love you,” and “The greatest.” Both of these songs are set to be released off of her forthcoming album Norman Fucking Rockwell! which will drop on August 30 on Polydor and Interscope Records.

Both of the videos share the same visual which shows Del Rey in a dive bar, playing pool and flipping through an old-fashioned jukebox which holds songs from everyone from Bon Iver to The Eagles. The other half shows parts of the US coast and industrial buildings near them.

“Fuck it I love you,” references California as something she views as just a “state of mind,” before discovering her love for the state and the culture around it. The visual passes through many images and staples of California culture as well during this part, showing an image of classic surfers on an old TV and showing the singer skateboarding with her friend.

“The greatest,” in many ways is almost the opposite of the previous track. In this song she sings about her nostalgia for Long Beach, and referencing the Beach Boys, which is shown in the video, but later reminisces about how she misses New York City. Her lyrics which state: “Kanye West is blond and gone/ “Life on Mars” ain’t just a song” show a more bittersweet image of California, which represents her feelings of heartbreak on this track.

Earlier this month the singer released “Looking For America,” a track where all the proceeds were donated to the victims of recent mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Toledo, Ohio. The instrumentation was handled by Jack Antonoff, while the singer states that she wrote the track right after hearing the news of these recent tragedies.

“Now I know I’m not a politician and I’m not trying to be so excuse me for having an opinion- but in light of all of the mass shootings and the back to back shootings in the last couple of days which really affected me on a cellular level,” the singer stated in an Instagram post.
