Jorja Smith Lives It Up In a Steamy Hot London In New Video For “Be Honest” Featuring Burna Boy

United Kingdom-based soul singer Jorja Smith has released a new song and video for her song “Be Honest.” The track features rising Afro-fusion singer Burna Boy and a video that is set in a sweltering urban environment, with Smith and her friends hanging out in a brutally-hot flat, fanning themselves and wearing as little clothing as possible. About halfway through the song Burna Boy makes his appearance, rapping upside-down on a mattress, his dreadlocks hanging down to the floor.

Smith has experienced a great deal of success over the last few years, particularly since the release of the Black Panther soundtrack last year. She contributed the song . She also released the new solo song “The One” back in December of last year. That year in August she released her solo album Lost & Found. “Be Honest” is the first piece of music released by Smith since her 2018 album.

Burna Boy has been making waves in the Unites States and the United Kingdom on the back of his breakthrough album Outside, which came out in 2018. Smith and Burna Boy also collaborated on his previous album African Child on the song “Gum Body.”
