Mumford and Sons Announce New Festival Agora Del Mar and Inaugural 2019 Lineup Featuring Jenny Lewis, Phoebe Bridgers and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats

Grammy award winning band Mumford and Sons are excited to inaugurally announce their intimate new festival Agora Del Mar. The festival will take place February 27-29th on the beautiful white beaches of Cancun, Mexico’s, Moon Palace Resort. The band has recently stated that they feel they haven’t spend enough time in Mexico, and want to offer their fans an all-inclusive 3 day festival that will feature two Mumford and Sons headlining performances as well as some of the best, hand picked acts, to appear alongside them. Agora Del Mar will feature performances from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Jenny Lewis, Phoebe Bridger’s, Dermot Kennedy, The Tallest Man on Earth, Gill Landry and Kevin Garrett. The band is excited to share this weekend with their fans and promises that it wont be any ordinary gig.

Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime festival will go on sale Thursday, August 22nd at 1:00pm ET. There will be a 24 hour pre-sale that launches on Wednesday, August 21st. Fans are able to register for the pre-sale starting now at www.agoradelmar.com and will be automatically entered in to win an all-inclusive trip for up to four people before they are available for purchase.

This festival comes after a very successful 2019 for Mumford and Sons. On top of announcing their inaugural festival the band has announced 20 more tour dates in support of their 2018 album, Delta. This is the fourth studio album released by the band, and the 3rd album from Mumford and Sons to reach number 1 on the billboard 200. This tour will include three performances at the 18,000 seat capacity Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village, Colorado, before making rounds to the rest of the US. Similar to their Agora Del Mar festival, this tour will feature a couple shows in Mexico. Supporting Mumford and Sons on this tour will be Australian rock band Gang of Youths, Alaskan rock band Portugal. The Man, Folk band Lord Huron, husband and wife pop duo Tennis, and Indie Folk band The Milk Carton Kids.
