Japanese Rock icons, Boris, have just announced their new double LP, LφVE & EVφL. This LP exists as two independent works of art which intricately entangle within one another before eroding and becoming utterly singular. The band has adapted a non-grid literary style which helps them give a more organic and musically diverse sound. Boris double LP, LφVE & EVφL, is set to release on October 4th, through Third Man Records. The label will also be reissuing their pioneering albums Akuma No Uta and Feedbacker, which will be available in exclusive, limited-edition colorways ready for purchase during the bands US tour this fall.

In addition to moving the release of their double LP to October, Boris has also shared a new single from their upcoming album. The music video for their single, “Love,” is anything but ordinary, this psychedelic feeling visual starts with the three of them just sitting at a table with a light bulb swinging between their faces. As the video progresses these transparent visuals appear on the screen just visible enough to trick the mind into thinking one is on a psychedelic trip. Boris does a great job balancing the heavy sounding distorted guitar with that slow tempo sounding drum to enhance that dark, creepy sounding feel. “Love” is a perfect representation of the direction the band is taking and will is just a taste of the musical diversity the band has acquired. The track listing for the double LP is listed below:

1. Away from You
2. Coma
