Snoop Dogg Reconciles With Suge Knight On “Let Bygones Be Bygones”

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. better known by his stage name Snoop Dogg, has just released a fresh new single from his upcoming LP, I Wanna Thank Me. Snoop uses this three minutes to describe his relationships evolution between him and his old friend Suge Knight. Snoop Dogg was a young 18-year-old rapper out of Long Beach, California when he met the notorious musical mantra and longtime thug Suge Knight. Knight was working with one of the most well-known and controversial groups on the planet, N.W.A., when he brought Snoop Dogg in to a studio session to work with infamous producer, Dr. Dre.

Suge Knight had earned himself a reputation as being a violent bully who would use extreme measures to ensure he always got his way. That didn’t sit too well with Snoop and during the long complicated NWA and Death row records beef, snoop was caught right in the middle of it. There have been allegations that Suge Knight had tried to put a hit out on Snoop Dogg and have him killed right as his career started to take off. On Snoop Dogg’s new song “Let Bygones Be Bygones” he take fans on a trip down memory lane and reconciles with his own Label Owner, Suge Knight.

The name of his new album, I Wanna Thank Me, was inspired by his speech at the Hollywood walk of fame ceremony in November 2018. “Let Bygones Be Bygones” is the second single released from the LP set to come out on August 16th from Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle Records. In the intro of the song he explains how he’s cool with Dre, Diddy, and Suge but how he had to reach out and get cool with them. Knight is currently serving a 28 year sentence in RJ Donovan correctional facility in San Diego on Manslaughter charges. Snoop Dogg’s past is no secret, but the direction he went with his music served him very successfully compared to his former nemeses Suge Knight.
