John Fryer as BLACK NEEDLE NOISE Joins Up With PIG For New Single “Seed Of Evil”

The dark and sinister voice of Raymond Watts’ from <PIG> is featured in track “Seed of Evil” by Black Needle Noise. If you can imagine an underground where music is playing loud this song would perfectly fit the setting. The song is featured on ReGen Magazine and described as intense and unforgiving and a ‘perfect fit’ for vocalist Raymond Watts’ menacing growl, inflaming the track’s foreboding lyrics about letting evil overcome one’s self.

Watts says, “When John Fryer called, it was like cream was fed to my poison crop. I was thrilled to lend Satan’s little helping hand to Black Needle Noise. The result from this marriage made in hell was appropriately called ‘Seed of Evil’ … it pours out of me into the night, where the devil ties it nice and tight.”

Regarding the new track “Seed of Evil” John Fryer states, “After many a moon passing we finally get to work together again. I had to find the right song for Raymond but I think we have a great noise-pop hit on our hands. It’s been a real pleasure working with Raymond on this and I can’t wait to hear it in the clubs.”

Black Needle Noise’s previously released music with artists like Mimi Page (Delirium), Jennie Vee (bassist, Hole), Ana Breton (Dead Leaf Echo), Omniflux (Puscifer), Kendra Frost (Kite Base), Andrea Kerr (Colt), Sivert Hoyem, Antic Clay, and ZiaLan and others. John Fryer started his career in 1979 at London’s Blackwing Studios and has worked with 4AD, Mute, Rough Trade, Depeche Mode, The Wolfgang Press and Cocteau Twins.

Fryer and Watts started their careers back in the 1980’s. Watts was lead singer with KMFDM and performed with Nine Inch Nails, Schaft, Schwein, and Einstürzende Neubauten, among others. He collaborated with fashion icon Alexander McQueen for the instrumental track “Inside” (from ‘s Genuine American Monster album). The fluid soundtrack to McQueen’s masterpiece, Plato’s Atlantis, the show was reprised after McQueen’s untimely death as the finale of Savage Beauty, the posthumous retrospective that broke all records at The Metropolitan Music of Art in New York and Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
