This Will Destroy You Announce Fall 2019 Tour Dates

Post-rock band This Will Destroy You has announced their fall 2019 tour dates. They’ll be trekking all over the country on the back of their recent albums New Others Part One and New Others Part Two. The pair of albums, released by Carlsbad label DarkOperative, received much critical acclaim upon release, including Stereogum even describing the albums as, “a heavy sprawl with some moments of outright beauty and others of gut-churn heaviness”.

Their tour will begin on August 8th at the Bunkhouse Saloon in Las Vegas, and conclude on November 24th at the Paper Tiger in San Antonio, Texas. This Will Destroy You is hitting major markets everywhere throughout the tour, including the Masquerade in Atlanta (November 1oth), The Bell House in Brooklyn (November 14th), and the Sleeping Village in Chicago (November 19th). Portland-based solo artist Brin (born Colin Blanton) will be opening up for This Will Destroy You for the entirety of the tour.  His upcoming seven track Hug Sway EP is due for release on July 24th.

Matthew Jordan: I grew up in Massachusetts, but I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I picked up my first musical instrument (viola) in the 3rd grade, and have been a fan of everything the medium has to offer ever since. Some of my favorite artists right now include Matt Maltese, Idles, MIKE, Benny the Butcher, Standing on the Corner, Built to Spill, and Frank Ocean. I also love following the charts and the music business to see what is connecting with listeners and why.
