New M.O.D. Band Featuring New Lead Singer Arises As M.O.D. Classic Alongside Original Band M.O.D

M.O.D. (aka Method of Destruction) is a New York-based crossover thrash band, fronted by Stormtroopers of Death vocalist Billy Milano. Meanwhile, the new M.O.D. band called M.O.D. CLASSIC arises with new blood, who have announced a string of tour dates in August. That’s right, there are now two versions of M.O.D.

Formed by original M.O.D. bassist Ken Ballone and guitarist Tim McMurtrie, M.O.D. CLASSIC invites drummer of D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) Felix Griffin and Donny “The DRP” Polinske (Primer 55) to take over the role of vocalist. Instead of being led by traditional thrash metal performance and presenting a cliché image of a rock band, the group claims that they will pay more attention to treat their fan base with respect.

M.O.D. CLASSIC tour embarks on August 15 in Reno, NV, then stops two cities Las Vegas on August 16 and Mesa on August 17, before wrapping up on August 18 in Anaheim, CA. Check out the tour schedule below.

M.O.D. CLASSIC tour dates:

8/15 – Reno, NV – Shea’s Bar
8/16 – Las Vegas, NV – The Dive Bar *
8/17 – Mesa, AZ – The Underground
8/18 – Anaheim, CA – The Doll Hut

* Psycho Las Vegas After Party
