Mike McCready Joined Onstage By Members Of Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses and the Red Hot Chili Peppers For Peak To Sky’s Closing Performance

Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready created a star-studded list assembling his rocker-friends for the inaugural Peak to Sky festival. Featuring Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer, the festival took place in Big Sky, Montana on July 5 and July 6. Mike McCready not only curated the two-day music festivals but also led the closing performances on the stage at the end of the concert.

After finished the solo gig at the festival, Brandi Carlile joined McCready to perform set of covers for almost two hours long. Before closing with Prince’s “Purple Rain,” McCready and friends’ entire rockers crew performed a long-sheet of classic masterpieces covering David Bowie, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Queen, Led Zeppelin, the Kinks, T. Rex and the Rolling Stones, New Musical Express reports. Festival-goers filmed and recorded the footage of Peak to Sky festival, check out the video and performance lists below.
