Alessandro Cortini Announces New Album VOLUME MASSIMO For September 2019 Release Off Mute Records

The Nine Inch Nails keyboard player Alessandro Cortini announced the upcoming release of his newest album VOLUME MASSIMO. This will be the first album Cortini will release while signed to Mute Records. VOLUME MASSIMO will officially be released on September 27th of this year on Vinyl, CD, and digitally. Cortini already released the first track off the album called “Amore Amaro.” Known for being an experimental artist, Cortini has always pushed the boundaries of electronic music and is aiming to do so in VOLUME MASSIMO.

“Amore Amaro” provides an interesting first glimpse into what listeners and fans can expect in VOLUME MASSIMO. The track is highly repetitive with long transitions before the song changes melodically. Cortini does an excellent job at establishing a mesmerizing and solid beat throughout “Amore Amaro.” Listen to the song below:

The last album Cortini released was Avanti. The album was critically acclaimed and was classically Cortini in its sound as simplistic electronic music was employed throughout with beautiful melody lines. To add to the intrigue of Avanti, Cortini provided a series of live audio-visual performances for the album, accompanied by footage from his family’s private film archive. VOLUME MASSIMO, is meant to be a continuation of the music from Avanti and will hopefully live up to the 2017 album.
