Bonobo is back with a new song, the upbeat dance track “Linked.” The song features an upbeat tempo, drawn-out ethereal female vocals punctuated by handclaps and whirring electronics.
Bonobo, the stage name of British electronic musician Simon Green, hasn’t released a great deal of music over the last few years but did share another standalone single called “Ibrik” back in February of 2019. In 2017 he released the excellent LP Migration, which was one of favorite album of that year.
Recently, he’s been active playing shows. Last month he announced a 2019 tour with Tokimonsta, Nosaj Thing, Tourist and Mall Grab, which is called Outlier. This tour began in June and lasts through the summer, playing in Montreal, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco and New York. He also performed at the unique music festival FORM Arcosanti in May.
