Exit 111 Announces 2019 Lineup Featuring Ghost, Killswitch Engage and Anthrax

Exit 111 Festival‘s lineup has just been announced to include multitude of rock legends.  The inaugural festival to be held by hard rock and heavy metal historian Eddie Trunk is taking place October 11-13 in Manchester, Tennessee.  Friday will be headlined by Lynyrd Skynyrd of “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird” fame, along with Slayer (in their last Tennessee show ever), Anthrax, and Killswitch Engage rounding out a busy day of rock.  The festival continues with Def Leppard headlining the Saturday shows, and ZZ Top, Ghost, and Mastodon providing more classics to fill out the schedule.  Finally, in possibly the biggest performance of the festival, Guns N’ Roses will be closing out the event on Sunday night, after shows by the likes of Deftones, Ministry, and Skillet, among others.

Matthew Jordan: I grew up in Massachusetts, but I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I picked up my first musical instrument (viola) in the 3rd grade, and have been a fan of everything the medium has to offer ever since. Some of my favorite artists right now include Matt Maltese, Idles, MIKE, Benny the Butcher, Standing on the Corner, Built to Spill, and Frank Ocean. I also love following the charts and the music business to see what is connecting with listeners and why.
