“Lion King illustrates the story of Simba, a young lion who is expected to succeed his father, Mufasa, as King of the Pride Lands, once his time is over; however, after Simba’s uncle Scar murders his father Mufasa, Simba is manipulated into believing he was the one responsible and flees into exile. [Upon reaching adulthood living with two wastrels Timon & Pumbaa], Simba is given some valuable [advice] from his childhood friend, Nala, and his shaman, Rafiki, before returning to Pride Rock to challenge his uncle to end his dictatorship and take his place in the Circle of Life as the rightful King.”
As mentioned earlier, James Earl Jones will be reprising his role as Mufasa, king of the Pride Lands and Simba’s father; Beyonce will be portraying Nala, Simba’s childhood friend and mate; Danny Glover will be portraying Simba, a young lion who is destined to succeed his father at the ruler of the Pride Lands.
