Black Mountain Announces Summer 2019 Horns Arising Tour Dates

This fall, Black Mountain will be traveling across North America after announcing their Horns Arising Tour. Expect to see the rock band in some spectacular places for the first time in honor of their recently released album  Destroyer. Denver’s Underground Music Showcase, Psycho Las Vegas The Crocodile in Seattle, Wonder Ballroom in Portland, and Lincoln Hall in Chicago, are just a few locations fans can mark on their calendars.

Black Mountain is a Canadian rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia. The band is composed of Stephen McBean, Amber Webber, Matt Camirand, Jeremy Schmidt and Joshua Wells. Since the band formed in 2004, they have released five LPs, Black Mountain, In the Future, Wilderness Heart, IV, and their recent album Destroyer; two EPs and a number of singles, mostly on the Jagjaguwar label.

Stereogum shows the band nothing short of praise for the music they create: “Black Mountain [has] always been great at doing all the things that bongwater-gargling riff-monsters should be good at doing. They have titanic canyon-spanning hooks. They’ve got enough dynamic range to switch their style up a few times within the space of a single song…On Destroyer, all of that is in very clear evidence. It’s enough to fill up your soul.”
