The Regrettes Announces New Album How Do You Love? for August 2019 Release and Share New Song “I Dare You”

Our favorite band of young and unapologetic rockers from Los Angeles, The Regrettes, have had a busy 2019. Today, they continue that trend with the announcement of their sophomore LP How Do You Love? as well as the latest single from that album, a track called “I Dare You.”

The album comes as promised, as the band announced they’d released a new record in 2019 following the departure of the group’s bassist Sage Chavis. The current lineup of the band is 18-year-old lead singer and guitarist Lydia Night, guitarist Genessa Gariano, bassist Brooke Dickson and drummer Drew Thomsen.

How Do You Love? will be released on August 9 on Warner Records. Thematically it details the ups and downs of a relationship from beginning to end. Previously-released singles from the album include “California Friends” and “Pumpkin.

The album follows their debut album Feel Your Feelings, Fool!, an auspicious release that, along with an energetic live show earned the band mxdwn’s Best New Artist designation in 2017.

2018 saw the band release that LPs follow-up in the form of the Attention Seeker EP, which included the song “Come Through.” They also released several standalone singles like “Poor Boy,” topical anthem that dissects the nomination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a cover of Queen’s classic “Don’t Stop Me Now.” Most recently, the band released “Dress Up” in March.
