A new single has been released in the Adult Swim singles series, this time coming from death metal band GATECREEPER. The track is titled “Anxiety” and is the first insight fans have into how the group’s next album may sound. GATECREEPER’s next album is currently expected to be released sometime later this year, with fans eagerly awaiting the group’s sophomore release. For now, however, they will need to be satisfied with the new “Anxiety” single. The track comes as the 43rd installment in the Adult Swim singles series, a group of songs that has seen a variety of artists present some of their most groundbreaking work.
GATECREEPER are a relatively new band on the heavy metal scene, releasing their debut album in 2016. The project, which was titled Sonoran Depravation, gaining the group praise from critics and fans across the metal genre. Some of the bigger tracks from the album included “Craving Flesh” and “Sterilized,” two incredibly heavy songs. From there the band released a collaborative album with the band Iron Reagan. The album came out in 2018, making it some of the most recent material put out by GATECREEPER prior to the new single.
