Music fans and video game nerds might want to mark their calendars for this one. C3 Presents, the minds behind some of the most recognized music festivals in the world including Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza, whose Chicago lineup this year boasts some of the biggest names in the music world like Ariana Grande and The Strokes, according to mxdwn, have teamed up with Seth Schorr and Scott London from Esports Hospitality Concepts, to create a brand new experience, The Metarama Gaming Festival, which seems to be marketing itself as Comic Con meets Coachella; a music festival for gaming geeks, and it’s as awesome as anyone could dream it would be.

The Metarama Gaming Festival is described as “A First-Of-Its-Kind Festival Celebrating the Intersection Between Video Games and Live Music,” by the press release given to mxdwn. The official Metarama Gaming Festival website adds on the experiences of “Esports, comedy, streaming, cosplay and more.”
