Dessa has released another single this year called “Good For You.” The feel-good track shows off the singer’s vocals this go around. It was produced by her bandmate and MONAKR member Saam Hagshenas, with additional production from Andy Thompson and Lazerbeak. follows her single“Grade School Games” released earlier this year. Fans can purchase a 7″ that includes both “Good For You” and “Grade School Games” via Doomtree here. The new material follows her full-length album Chime, released last year.
Dessa and her band are currently on the road for the summer, recently kicking the set of shows off at Bottlerock in Napa, CA alongside Mumford & Sons, Imagine Dragons, and Neil Young, who performed past the festivals curfew. She then performed at Boston Calling alongside Travis Scott, Tame Impala, and Twenty-One Pilots. The tour then continues on to Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Austin, before concluding in Denver, CO Aug. 30. Earlier this year, the singer recorded a live album with Minnesota Orchestra, her fourth collaboration with them. It marked the ensemble’s first ever recorded collaboration with a rapper.
