The Avett Brothers Announce 2020 Avett Brothers At The Beach Concert Vacation Lineup Featuring Emmylou Harris, Dawes and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

After taking a brief hiatus, the Avett Brothers announced that they are bringing back their bash “At the Beach” with a new location.

The American folk rock band announced earlier today that the third edition of their vacation bash will be held right on time for spring break to commence at the luxurious Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic from February 27 to March 2, 2020. Although they have departed from holding the festival in Mexico, they are still partnering up with longtime collaborators Cloud 9 and The Bowery Presents to bring the exotic-themed music getaway to life.

The all-inclusive trip is making a return and the GRAMMY-nominated band announced that tickets for the festival will begin to release as part of a pre-sale on June 5th. The reservation for the trip will include hotel costs, drinks, festival entry, and more.

Since the bash first began its inaugural year at the Hard Rock Rivera Maya in 2018, it has quickly garnered buzz as becoming an exciting vacation trip for tropical tourists and music lovers alike. With the vacation getaway attracting more and more attendance each year, it makes sense why the band is eager to do the getaway trip for its third year.

Lead singer Seth Avett said the “At The Beach experience is naturally growing to become one of the most enjoyable performance scenarios we and our fans are blessed to take part in. It’s an event where the joyful spirit of the surroundings actually begins to match the celebration within the souls in attendance. For those interested in our music, it is vacation at its most memorable.”

The festival will include the Avett Brothers performing for three shows with supporting acts including Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Emmylou Harris, Shakey Graves, Dawes, Trampled by Turtles, The Wood Brothers, Mandolin Orange, Langhorne Slim and The Lost At Last Band, and more.

Kalen Murphy: I was raised across the world so I cannot be grounded to a genre knowing that music is the universal language that makes us move as one. Sometimes I'm Tyler, The Creator with a hint of Donald Glover, other days I can be Tame Impala with a splash of Sylvan Esso. If you're someone that can see colors while listening to a song like me, cheers because we're the last of a dying breed.
