Nasty Cherry Releases Vintage Laden Music Video For “What Do You Like In Me”

Girl group Nasty Cherry has released a new music video for their new single “What Do You Like In Me.” The new song follows its lead single, “Win,” released earlier this year. The new music video was directed and co-produced by band member Gabbriette and creative Indiana Piorek. Gabriette discussed the song in a press release, stating “The song is personal to all of us…“Indiana and I wanted to create a world that felt familiar and timeless and let the song speak for itself. We used all of our own clothes and “props” from our homes and friends to help out…it was a wonderful collaboration that I’m so happy was born.”

It has a nostalgic feel to the video as if the video was filmed in the 90’s and was inspired by 90’s cult classic films The Craft and Beetlejuice. With it’s dark, quirky but sexy tone, it is the music video that people would enjoy at a Halloween party if it were played on a TV Screen. Check out the silly yet inticing video below.

Nasty Cherry will make their debut live performance in Brooklyn, NY at Baby’s All Right June 18.  Tickets for the performance can be purchased here. The group is currently signed under Charli XCX’s label Vroom Vroom Recordings and was formed by guitarist and frontwoman of Kitten Chloe Chaidez. It also consists of drummer Debbie Knox-Hewson, bassist and former set director of Star Wars Georgia Somary and singer Gabbriette Bechtel, who was recently featured as a model in Galore magazine.

Chaidez’s other band Kitten, released their latest synth-fueled single “Oh My God” late last year. Since the release, the band had gone on to open for The Smashing Pumpkins earlier this year.
