Carly Rae Jepsen Clones Attack On The Video For “Too Much”

Off of her newly released album Dedicated, Carly Rae Jepson just unveiled her latest single, “Too Much” according to COS. Not only do fans get a new song, but also an accompanying video featuring Jepson surrounded by multiple versions of herself. At first they seem like clones, but as the clip continues it becomes clear they’re further embodiment of her own mind. Viewers see her Id go wild during a food fight, an array of shifting mirrors displaying her self-reflection and even her wandering mind as she sits staring at the TV.

Too Much” reveals themes of living each moment to excess, dancing, partying and loving too much. Dedicated came out May 17 and “Too Much” is the fifth song to be released from it. Other songs off the album include “Julien,” “Now That I Found You,” and “Party for One.” Jepson tweeted about the importance of “Julien” saying that it is the song that taught her the heart and direction of the entire album. She is most known for her son “Call Me Maybe” which came out in 2012 and instantly took off as a hit. Her latest album is E*MO*TION which came out in 2015.

In support of Dedicated Jepson is set to go on tour this summer in North America. It will start June 27 and conclude August 11. Check out the video for “Too Much” below.
