Yeasayer’s Debut New Groovy Single “Ecstatic Baby” Off Upcoming Album June 2019 Release Erotic Reruns

Rock band Yeasayer debuts new single “Ecstatic Baby” from their forthcoming album Erotic Reruns, set to be released June 7. Pre-order Erotic Reruns here with various bundles including limited glow-in-the-dark red vinyl, prints, t-shirts and more.

According to the press release, the anticipated album Erotic Reruns “distills a decade of twisted, paranoid pop into the Brooklyn band’s most direct, cut-to-the-bone album yet.” Over 9 incredible new songs, Yeasayer “balance a sardonic and chilling reaction to dark times with moments of warmth and self-reflection.”

It was written and produced by singer/multi-instrumentalist Chris Keating, singer/multi-instrumentalist Anand Wilder, and bassist/singer Ira Wolf Tuton.

The album “marks a return to the band’s origins: the core trio of Yeasayer taking complete artistic control and making this album in the studios each of them [has] built in their homes in Brooklyn and upstate New York.”

Following the album release, the band will be headlining a 25-date U.S. summer tour in June and July. They will begin the tour June 12 in Portsmouth, NH, at 3S Artspace. The band will play in several popular cities throughout the tour including, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and many more. After 24 shows, they will conclude the tour with a hometown headlining show at the newly re-opened Webster Hall in NYC on July 13.
