Beast Coast Announces Debut Album For May 2019 Release

Joey Bada$$ confirmed that the Beast Coast project is complete. The artist took to Twitter to make the announcement, “This is a “BEASTCOAST album done” tweet.” There have been two singles released so far including, “Left Hand” and “Coast/Clear,” and the new album, Escape from New York is slated to be released on May 24, 2019.

Beast Coast will hit the road for the “Escape From New York” tour which kicks off July 23 in Seattle and will run until August 25th in Baltimore. Beast Coast features BET’s Rap City host Big Tigger and members from Flatbush Zombies, Pro Era, and The Underachievers: Zombie Juice, Issa Gold, Meechy Darko, Joey Bada$$, AK, Kirk Knight, CJ Fly, Erick Arc Elliott, and finally Nyck Caution.

The two singles, “Left Hand,” and “Coast/Clear” debuted on the Tonight Show in April. Beast Coast has appeared on festival bills since 2013 and this is the first full-length project.

The supergroup has a slew of tour dates that will run through August including stops at Rolling Loud in Miami and New York City’s Governors Ball in June. The group will head out on their “Escape From New York” North American tour July 23rd in Seattle.

Beast Coast released “Left Hand” which was co-produced by Tyler Dopps and Sam Wish. “Left Hand” is loaded with sick beats where the artists drop in on each verse with a different style against a backdrop of beats and bass. One fan writes, “You know that feeling as a kid when your favorite super heroes team up and fight together?”

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
